HCS has a very busy October planned. Please mark the following events on your calendar:

Gym Dedication - Sunday, October 4, 2009
HCS will be honoring Mr. James Hoffsommer by dedicating the HCS gymnasium to him and his loving committment to Hillsdale Christian School since it's inception in 1982. Please join us for a dedication ceremony begining at 2:30 followed by a reception and fellowship. All HCS and Hillsdale Public School alumni, former staff and board members are invited.

Benefit Sporting Clay Shoot - Saturday, October 10, 2009
HCS will be holding a Sporting Clay Shoot to benefit the new gym floor project. Entry is $40 for adults and $20 for students (must hold a Hunter Safety Course Card and be accompanied by an adult) which includes lunch and ammunition for the seven station course. The event will be held at Dr. Brian Whitson's farm located south of Hillsdale on Boomer Rd. Sponsors for the event are currently being sought. Call the school office at (580) 635-2211 for registration and sponsorship information.

Fall Carnival and Silent Auction - Friday, October 16, 2009
The HCS Fall Carnival will be kicked off at 5:30 pm with a Pancake Supper followed by the opening of the carnival booths and silent auction at 6:30. Donations of items for the silent auction are now being collected. Contact Melanie Gray in the school office for information.

You're invited to Hillsdale Christian School's "Grandparent's Day 2009". Join us Friday, September 18 as we honor our grandparents and the heritage that they have given us. Activities will be as follows:

8:30 a.m. - Chapel at Hillsdale Bible Church (located across the street from HCS)

9:30 a.m. - Light Breakfast served in the HCS Music Room

10:00 a.m. - Book Fair Shopping in the HCS Gym (sponsored by Enid Christian Bookstore)

10:30 - 11:00 a.m. - Visit your grandchild's classroom

11:10 - 11:40 a.m. - Lunch with Pre-K through 2nd Grade Classes

11:40 - 12:10 - Lunch with 3rd through 6th Grade Classes

Lunch Menu: Hamburger, French Fries, Strawberry Jello with Bananas, and Blueberry Muffins

We ask that you RSVP by September 16 so that we have enough food prepared for your visit. Lunch cost is $2.50 per person and includes your choice of chocolate or white milk, or apple juice. You can RSVP by phone - (580) 635-2211 or email - hillsdalechristian@sbcglobal.net.
