HCS is hosting an Open House on Thursday, April 28, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. for new/prospective families. Any interested families are welcome. Invite someone!
The morning bus schedule for Wednesday, April 27, will be altered because of the Tri-State Choir Competition:
PreK – 2nd:
OBA – 7:50-7:55 a.m.
LOCKE SUPPLY – 7:30-7:40 a.m.
3rd – 6th:
Be at EMMANUEL BAPTIST CHURCH by 8:10 a.m. The HCS bus will pick these students up after they sing and take them to school.
The afternoon bus schedule will be the same as that of a regular day.
Monday, April 25, is Track Meet day. All students and staff, please bring a sack lunch. No hot lunch will be available.
PreK-K – Track Meet @ HCS (9:00-11:00)
1st-6th – Track Meet @ Pond Creek (events begin at 9:30)
Don’t forget that we will not be having school on Thursday or Friday of this week (April 21-22), due to the ACSI Science Fair at HCS and Good Friday.

Easter parties are tomorrow (Wednesday, April 20) at 2 p.m.
Each student, please bring:
- 12 plastic, candy-filled eggs to hide and hunt
- a basket/bucket for gathering
The deadline to order HCS T-shirts is Monday, April 18.
- Original blue HCS t-shirts: $8 each, sizes Youth Small – Adult XL
(add $1 for each additional X) - Blue zebra HCS t-shirts: $10 each (We must have at least 10 to order)
- Gray t-shirt with Eagle logo: $11 each (We must have at least 10 to order)
