Educational Needs Program
The Discovery Program provides guidance and therapy for students who have special educational needs that cannot be fully met through the regular classroom. The program challenges each student to fully use his/her God-given abilities to become independent and successful in the regular classroom.

Academic and Sports Activities for Student Involvement Include:

Students in the fifth and sixth grades are chosen to be a part of the HCS academic team according to performance and knowledge of current events. Team members travel to several area competitions.

Math Olympics
Students in grades third through sixth are tested in computation and reasoning by their classroom teacher. The students receiving the highest scores represent HCS at the ACSI State Math Olympics.

Spelling Bee
After an in-school spelling bee one student from each grade, third through sixth, is eligible to compete in the ACSI State Spelling Bee.

Science Fair
HCS holds an annual school Science Fair for grades first through sixth. The winning project in each category for grades third through sixth will go to compete in the ACSI State Science Fair.

Speech Meet
All students in grades first through sixth compete in the annual school speech meet. The winner of each category in each grade will represent HCS at the ACSI State Speech Meet.

Basketball players with coachBasketball (5th & 6th graders only)
All 5th and 6th grade students are members of the Eagles boys or girls basketball team as part of their physical education class. Teams play other area schools and participate in several local tournaments including the Hillsdale Christian School tournament held annually in November.

Cheerleading (5th & 6th only)
All girls in the 5th and 6th grade are invited to be a member of the Eagles cheerleading squad. The squad cheers at all basketball games as well as leading school wide pep rallies.

Track
All students in grades first through sixth have the opportunity to participate in track meets held in the spring.

Students in music classMusic
HCS is proud of its music program. Students participate in the Enid Tri-State Music Festival, the Seiling Music Festival held in the Spring, and various musical programs throughout the school year.
